CONI approved the players' justice system

CONI's National Council has approved the reform of the Italian Sportsmen's Judicial Institute. This new reform, which has been carried out in collaboration with the Government and the Minister of Sports and Youth, Andrea Abodi, will concentrate many powers in the hands of CONI's Prosecutor General, which will increase awareness. It should be implemented by sports federations affiliated to CONI, including FIGC. In today's meeting, CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio discussed the issue of player justice, also highlighting the relevance of the work of the Committee for the Protection of Justice. Buonfiglio also thanked Massimo Zaccheo, President of the Third Section, and the legal students Massimo Proto and Antonio Conte for this. The President also congratulated Giovanni Malagò on his election as President of Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio.
