Paderborn manager Sebastian Lange has praised Meier's qualities, stating that he is a central midfielder, where he can launch dangerous attacks. Paderborn have shelled out €400,000 for the deal, a sky-high total for the club. This is opening up new possibilities in Paderborn's team identity. President Thomas Sagal said that this time they are getting more facilities than during the previous climb.
