Liverpool have identified Yann Diomande as their top target to replace Mohamed Salah, but he only wants to join Paris Saint-Germain. The Ivory Coast international believes a move to PSG will give him the best chance to challenge for major trophies and win the Ballon d'Or. Following Yann Diomonde's refusal, Liverpool have begun looking for better options, so that they can bring in an elite forward who can help replicate Salah's attacking productivity. According to TalkSport, the Reds are monitoring PSG's Bradley Barcola. Barcola has been successful in establishing himself as one of the top young forwards among the Ligue 1 players since 2023. He has scored 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances for PSG in all competitions. However, the France international expressed displeasure with Luis Enrique's decision for the Champions League final against Arsenal. Barcola wants to be the protagonist and not the supporting character, and his exit in the summer season is very likely. The 23-year-old forward is regarded at the top end for his blistering pace, stability under pressure and attacking productivity. Liverpool are also considering Said El Mala (FC Colón), Yankouba Minteh (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Matias Fernandez-Pardo (Lille) as alternatives to Diomande.
