Paolo Montero, a former Juventus defender and now coach of Al-Ittifaq in Dubai, spoke to Sportmediaset on the club's current and future situation. "I didn't think the season would end like this, because when they started with Spalletti, there was an improvement." Montero said he trusts Carnevali, who used to work for Sassuolo, and hopes he can make a significant contribution at Juventus as well.
Speaking about Vlahovic and Chiesa, Montero said, "I still want to focus on Vlahovic, because he is a very good player." He also said of Cheesa, "I believe in him too." Responding to questions regarding the former Juventus player, Montero said of the possibility of Del Piero's return: "It would be a good step; I can say with certainty that he is preparing."
