According to sources, it is currently not possible for the President to attend the tournament, unless the American team reaches the semi-finals. Right now, the World Cup is not in his plans as he will be busy celebrating Independence Day in America on July 4. However, Trump is believed to attend the prize-giving ceremony at the final match, where he will hand over the trophy to the captain of the winning team. The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The current champion of the World Cup is the team of Argentina.
